Party Descriptions

Here is a brief description of some of the parties I offer. All of these parties are 2 hours (including time for food and/or cake), include all the fun, activities, and materials, as well as goodie bags. I can also organize and provide invitations, paper goods, cake and additional helpers. Once you pick a theme I will meet with you to go over the detail party agenda and together we can determine how to make it work in your home or elsewhere.

Noah's Ark "Stuff-N-Fluff" Workshop

First you'll choose an "unstuffed" collectible cuddly friend (the highest quality), hand stuff it yourself, 'wish upon' and insert a rainbow star, then zip it closed. You'll then name it, create a customized birth certificate and personalize your new friend by dressing it in an adorable and authentic outfit. And finally, you will color & decorate your new cuddly friend's "Take Home Bag," and finally you can take it home and LOVE it forever.

Teddy Bear Tea Party

Children bring their favorite stuffed animal or all the party goers can make their very own loveable friend right at the party. Tea, sandwiches, and sweets will be served along with party games specially designed to include cuddly friends. Who can resist a Tea Party?

Hawaiian Hula Luau

The Hawaiian Hula Luau is so much fun! We get in the mood by making Leis and donning raffia skirts. We play Hawaiian games and then learn to Hula dance. Take out your movie camera - girls love to see themselves dance! We make beautiful flower hair combs and go on a Polynesian Scavenger hunt. Included in the party for take home goodies are the coconut cups, the real raffia skirts, leis, flowered hair combs, and a few other treats.

Around the world

We pick 6 countries (I have a great list!) and with passports, we travel to each of them doing crafts, activities, games, and tasting foods. For example, we make delft tiles and taste chocolates from Holland, play a mummy wrap game and a King Tut maze in Egypt, decorate fans and eat egg rolls in China, and end up back in the good ole USA for cake!. The goodie bags at the end of the party contain something from each country. This party conforms well to any available space.

Spa Retreat

The spa party involves pampering activities and girlish fun. We will have facials, manicures, and make overs, I also like to teach hand massaging! Possible activities are making special spa slippers (these are so cute), making hair clips (personalized and flowered), making bath salts and/or lip gloss. The girls can dine on little sandwiches and smoothies, enjoy soft relaxing music. Take home items are the items the girls make, nail polish, hand mirrors, and sweets.

Pajama Fun

This party has all the fun of a slumber party with friends - your choice if you send them home (sleep -under) or let them stay the night. The kids make pizza's and sundaes, decorate pillow cases or make slippers, play lots of fun silly games, and even go on a scavenger hunt. Painting nails, making personalized hair clips, and telling stories fit right in … if there is time. This party can be increased to three hours if you want to put on a movie at the end.

Olympic Party

In the spirit of the Olympics! Children are divided into countries before performing opening ceremonies with a torch run. Competitions are much like the real Olympics but brought down to kid ability and fun. For example, we have a javelin throw, just with a feather! We always need unbiased judges who can control their laughter! We end with award ceremonies, medals and other prizes. When the weather is good, this is great fun outside; otherwise a big space inside works great. This is a wonderful theme for active children!

Crafting Party

Jewelry Making or Girl's Room accessories are just two themes for crafts that will keep your child's guests enthralled even weeks after the party. Kids move through stations of crafts that involve and teach glass painting, decoupage, beading, wire wrapping, and painting - results can all be taken home; one special item stays as a gift from friends to the birthday kid!

Cooking party

Children are given their own chef hats and aprons and proceed to cook up a storm! There are plenty of food and cooking themed games to play but we wouldn't want to take time away from the real goal - making the meal! Your child can help plan the menu by selecting from options for appetizer, main course, sides, and, of course, desert. Setting and decorating the table is also part of the fun and then of course so is the eating! Guests sign the birthday boy or girl's apron as a souvenir. Take home goodies include hats, aprons, recipe cards for the items made, cookie cutters, and deserts.
